G̱ilakas'la my name is Rejean Sasixwtlala Child and I am from a small Canadian community called TsaX̱is (Fort Rupert) located just beside the small town of Port Hardy B.C. I am a mixed blood artist consisting of many ancestries creating a wonderful diversity of histories, stories and legends. I have been growing up for 30 wonderful years in this world and have had an abundance of teachers who have shared with me the knowledge of expression through art and story. it is my pleasure to provide these expressions of my self in my own unique style of some might say Highly Contemporary Northwest Coast Native Art. Thats a mouthfuI!.

I always enjoy an artistic challenge, so if you are interested in working together to create some custom designs feel free to contact me at via email with your ideas. You may find that some words are unrecognizeable on some of the designs. These words are the language I grew up learning called Kwak’wala you can feel free to reach out.
